1. Using SHRD
You must provide accurate account information, protect your account and use SHRD lawfully. You are responsible for deciding whether a route, feature, weather condition, bike or activity is suitable for you.
2. Outdoor activity and safety
Mountain biking involves risk. Trail information, maps, navigation, weather, hazards and community reports may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. SHRD is not an emergency service and does not replace signage, landowner instructions, official closures, appropriate equipment, training or personal judgement. Stop and seek a safe alternative whenever conditions are uncertain.
3. User content
You retain ownership of routes, reviews, photos, video clips and other material you submit. You grant Techomatic Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, promote and improve SHRD, subject to your visibility choices.
You must own submitted content or have all required permission. Do not upload unlawful, dangerous, misleading, abusive, infringing or privacy-invasive content. We may restrict or remove content and accounts to protect riders, comply with law or enforce these terms.
4. Video uploads and YouTube
If you submit a clip for publication through SHRD, you authorise us to upload and manage that clip on the official SHRD YouTube channel using YouTube API Services and embed it in SHRD. This feature is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. You may request removal through our support page.
5. Trails, access and intellectual property
A route appearing in SHRD does not guarantee a right of access. Respect land ownership, local rules, closures, wildlife and other trail users. Suggestions to rename or amend a user-created trail remain subject to moderation and the creator’s available controls.
6. Beta availability
We may add, change, suspend or withdraw beta features without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that data will always be preserved during beta testing. Keep copies of important route files.
7. Our intellectual property
The SHRD name, application design, software and original service content belong to Techomatic Limited or its licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SHRD is provided “as is”; Techomatic Limited is not responsible for indirect loss, loss caused by reliance on community information, or injury arising from outdoor activity or failure to exercise appropriate care.
9. Ending use
You may stop using SHRD and request account deletion. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance or serious breach of these terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Contact supports@shrdmtb.com with questions.
